Portraits

This is an example of a low key portrait. In low key portraits there is no background. The background is usually black.

This is an example of a No background portrait. This is a no background picture because it is blurry and it also doesn't tell a story.

This is a Background included portrait. This is because there is a background that tells a story about the main subject in the picture.

Animal Hoax

For one of our assignments we had to make a animal hoax. For my animal hoax I combined a dog and a tiger. And for the second one I used a Tiger and Cat. I used Photoshop to help me edit the pictures. I did three pictures and I really think these ones are the best. In the tiger picture I cut out the face and pasted it onto the dog picture. I did the same thing for the Tiger and Cat picture. Then i erased the fur around the neck and this is what it turned out looking like.

Land Of Giants

We had an assignment to look like this is from the Land of Giants. For this picture i took a picture of a wreath and a picture of my brother. I used photoshop to add shadows and to shrink the picture of him. I really like how this turned out! I think it looks pretty realistic.

Best Oct. & Nov. Pics

These pictures were taken for our Open Shoot assignment. I really like these pictures because the dogs actually sat still so I could take the pictures. I like the first picture because of the angle, color, and the good lighting. I think the second one looks better in black and white because of all of the shadows and the darker lighting. The third picture I controlled the lighting so that was pretty cool. I really like how it is very colorful and they are looking at the same point in the picture.

The first pictures were taken by Walker Evans. I really like these pictures because they are in black and white and are older pictures.

These three pictures were taken by Jim Brandenburg. I like his pictures mainly because he likes to take picture of nature, and thats what I like to do.

5 Best Photos

I really like this picture because it was one of the first ones I took with my new camera. And i was really excited for photography. I really like this because of the background being blurry.

I like this one because our assignment was to take pictures of reflections.
And this was the strongest reflection that i shot.

I like this picture a lot because of the trees that are leaning inward.
Also the colors are very good.

I like this one a lot because of the bright leave color
and the dark trunk color.

Different Lighting

Our assignment was to take a picture of the same subject at three different times of day. We did this to look at the different lighting. The top picture is from the morning. And the last is from the night.
I chose this subject because it was the best one that I shot. I think the one that has the best lighting is the  morning one because it has the shadow of the pumpkin. The one with the worst light I think is the night one because it is really dark.
